Business Law Workshops

The Business Law Workshop is a weekly forum for the presentation and discussion of current research in the field of business law, broadly construed. Presentations are given by a mix of external speakers, faculty visitors, and faculty members and research students. Papers are normally circulated in advance via the seminar web page. The workshop attracts an interdisciplinary mix of participants, with colleagues and students from the Law Faculty, the Said Business School, the Blavatnik School of Government and the Department of Economics. Many workshops provoke lively and constructive discussions.

Law and Finance Conferences

Academics and practitioners come together to discuss particular topics at a variety of law and finance conferences during the year.

There are usually at least three conferences each year, which have ranged from topics such as Judging Corporate Law (with senior members of the judiciary from England and Delaware attending) to European Takeover Regulation.
