Interdisciplinary research in law and finance

For anyone interested in pursuing doctoral research in law and finance, the MLF provides an ideal foundation. Amongst other things, it offers a grounding in quantitative techniques which are becoming increasingly relevant in interdisciplinary research.

For appropriate projects it is possible to arrange joint supervision involving faculty members in both the Law Faculty and the Saïd Business School.

Prospective doctoral students can also seek direct admission to either the Law Faculty’s or the Saïd Business School’s research degree programmes.

Admission to the doctoral programme from the MLF is subject to excellent performance in the MLF, the development of a promising research programme and the identification of suitable supervisors.
